How We Work
Free Estimate
We contact your electricity provider to get your usage to go over the financial benefits of going solar. We are education based, not high pressure sales. We help you understand the components and operation of a new system.
Site Survey
Still part of the free estimate, your solar representative will come out to assess your roof and electrical service, as well as answer any additional questions you may have.
Plan Your Installation
Complete all necessary paperwork to begin the interconnection process. This involves the local utility, state and local electrical inspectors, and building department. We pull permits and interface with these authorities on our customer’s behalf.
Install Day
We coordinate with your schedule to ensure the least disruption to your day. Our installers only need 15-20 minutes with you on this day. Afterwards, installers will work on your roof autonomously without the homeowners presence. We install the racks and panels and typically we’re done within a day or two.
Site Inspection and Permission to Operate (PTO)
Upon state electrical inspection, the inspection report is submitted to your utility. This triggers your utility to install your net meter. Once the net meter is installed, the utility will grant permission to operate.
Save Money!
Once PTO is granted, we turn on your system and walk you through the monitoring app and system components.
