You Should Know What Happens Next
Most people have never bought a solar system before, and the industry has not made it easy to understand. So we’ve written down our process plainly, including where you get to say yes or no.
Atlasta has been doing this on the Western Slope since 1979. We’re employee-owned and vertically integrated, which is a formal way of saying the same company designs your system, orders the equipment and installs it. The licensed electricians on your roof are co-owners of the business. Nothing is handed to a subcontractor.
The Four Steps
Consultation
An in-depth conversation about how you actually use energy, and a site assessment of your roof, your electrical panel and your property. Bring a recent utility bill or two — real usage data is what makes a quote accurate rather than optimistic.
Custom Design
Our team designs a system around your roof layout, your shading and your consumption — not a template. You’ll see the production estimate, the equipment list and the numbers, including how federal and state incentives such as the Investment Tax Credit apply to you.
Approval & Paperwork
Once you approve the design, we handle the permitting and utility paperwork that has to happen before anyone climbs a ladder. You have a point of contact throughout, and we never move on to the next step without your approval.
Installation
Our own crew installs the system, then we schedule the local inspection and utility sign-off, and walk you through your monitoring so you can see what your roof is producing from day one.

Design
Systems are designed in-house for Western Colorado conditions by people who have been doing it here since 1979. We know these roofs, these utilities and these winters.
Equipment
We’re a Platinum Installer with Enphase and a Premium Installer with Panasonic, and have been named top residential installer in the Mountain Region by Panasonic for multiple consecutive years.
Installation
Installed by our own licensed electricians, who are also co-owners of the company. Colorado Electrical License #0100041. The person on your roof has a stake in the work being right.
